The Past: I suppose it all started with my senior year of high school. I didn’t know what I wanted to study in college or what I wanted to do professionally after college. However, my senior project answered both questions for me. I created an art magazine for my high school. Taking advantage of my creativity, I connected with many of the artistic students at the school, published the magazine, and sold them. After having a taste of what it was like to be an entrepreneur, I decided to experience other kinds of jobs in different industries.
- Human Resources – Intern at Amazon.com
- Journalism – Writer, A&E Editor, Distribution for Bellevue College Newspaper
- Operations Management/Transportation – Supervisor at UPS
- Marketing/Graphic Design – Chief Marketing Officer of LMG
The Present: With a double major in marketing and entrepreneurship at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, I aspire to gain some hands on experience in the marketing field. I’m currently on the hunt for a good marketing internship or job.
The Future: I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I intend to do what I can to achieve my dreams and aspirations. One motto I’ve always stuck with is: let nothing hold me back. With that said, I aspire to someday start a business or two or ten of my own. I’ve got plenty of ideas. It’s just a matter of bringing them to life. As ambitious and determined and stubborn as I am, I’ll make it happen sooner or later.
